At Shudda & Co., we want your honey to reach you as safely and quickly as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle deliveries for orders placed on our website (houseofshudda.com).


SECTION 1 – SERVICEABLE LOCATIONS

We currently ship orders to most pin codes across India through trusted courier and logistics partners.

If your pin code is not serviceable at the time of checkout, you will not be able to complete the order for that address. We recommend checking serviceability during checkout before proceeding with payment.

Please note: Serviceability is determined by our courier partners and may change from time to time based on their operational capabilities and network coverage.


SECTION 2 – ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Orders are typically processed and handed over to our courier partners within 1–3 working days from the time of successful payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next working day.

  • If we anticipate a longer processing time (for example, due to high order volume, stock replenishment, or operational constraints), we will do our best to keep you informed via email or SMS.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email and/or SMS with tracking details.


SECTION 3 – ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMELINES

Once dispatched, orders are usually delivered within the following timelines:

  • Metro cities: 3–5 working days

  • Non-metro cities and towns: 4–7 working days

  • Remote or difficult-to-reach locations: 7–10 working days

Please note:

  • These are estimated timelines only. Actual delivery time may vary based on your location, courier partner operations, weather conditions, public holidays, strikes, local restrictions, or other factors beyond our control.

  • Delivery timelines are calculated from the date of dispatch, not from the date of order placement.

  • We make every reasonable effort to ensure timely delivery, but Shudda & Co. does not guarantee delivery within the estimated timelines and shall not be held liable for delays caused by third-party courier services or circumstances beyond our control.


SECTION 4 – SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges (if any) will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your payment.

  • From time to time, we may offer free shipping above a certain order value as part of promotions or ongoing offers. The applicable criteria, if any, will be mentioned on the website or displayed at checkout.

  • All product prices displayed on the website are inclusive of applicable taxes (such as GST).

Shipping charges are non-refundable except in cases where the issue was due to an error on our part (such as wrong product delivered, damaged product, or non-delivery). Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for more details.


SECTION 5 – CASH ON DELIVERY (COD)

Shudda & Co. may offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for select pin codes and order values, subject to availability.

If COD is available for your order:

  • COD availability and any additional COD convenience fee or shipping fee will be clearly displayed at checkout.

  • Please keep the exact amount ready at the time of delivery, as our delivery partners may not always carry change.

  • COD orders must be paid in full in cash at the time of delivery. We do not accept partial payments or cheques.

Important:

  • Shudda & Co. reserves the right to disable or restrict COD for certain users, locations, or orders in case of repeated cancellations, refusals, suspected misuse, or fraudulent activity.

  • If a COD order is refused or not accepted at delivery, and the refusal is not due to any fault on our part, we reserve the right to deduct applicable shipping costs before processing any refund (if applicable).


SECTION 6 – ORDER TRACKING

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email and/or SMS with:

  • Your tracking ID or AWB (Airway Bill) number

  • The name of the courier partner

You can use this information to track your shipment on the courier partner's official tracking page or website.

If you face any issues with tracking, or if the tracking information is not updating, please reach out to us at shuddaco@gmail.com with your order ID, and we will assist you.


SECTION 7 – PACKAGING & HANDLING

We understand that honey is a delicate product and can be messy if not packed properly. To ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition, we use:

  • Sturdy, tamper-evident packaging

  • Cushioning materials and bubble wrap to protect glass jars

  • Secure cartons designed to minimise the risk of breakage or leakage during transit

Despite our best efforts, damage during transit can occasionally occur due to rough handling by courier services.

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or broken:

  • Do not consume the product.

  • Take clear photographs of the outer packaging and the damaged product immediately.

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery at shuddaco@gmail.com with your order details and photos.

  • Refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for the full process to report and resolve such issues.


SECTION 8 – DELAYS, NON-DELIVERY & WRONG ADDRESS

While we work with reliable courier partners, deliveries may occasionally be delayed due to reasons such as:

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or unserviceable address provided by the customer

  • Recipient unavailable at the delivery address or unreachable via phone

  • Local restrictions, weather conditions, natural disasters, or public health emergencies

  • Strikes, public holidays, or operational disruptions at the courier company's end

  • Security or access issues at gated communities, offices, or apartment complexes

Please ensure that:

  • Your full delivery address, pin code, landmark, and contact number are accurate and complete when placing the order.

  • Someone is available to receive the delivery during business hours, or provide alternate delivery instructions (such as delivery to a security desk or neighbour) if required.

8.1 Orders Returned Due to Failed Delivery

If an order is returned to us due to any of the following reasons:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer

  • Repeated failed delivery attempts (recipient unavailable or unreachable)

  • Customer refusal to accept the package without valid reason

  • Any other reason attributable to the customer

We may:

  • Deduct two-way shipping costs (forward shipping + return shipping) and refund the balance amount to your original payment method, OR

  • Reship the order to a corrected or alternate address after you pay additional shipping charges, depending on the situation and at our discretion.

Shudda & Co. is not responsible for non-delivery or delays caused by incorrect address details or unavailability of the recipient.


SECTION 9 – INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

At the moment, Shudda & Co. does not offer international shipping. We only ship within India.

If this changes in the future, we will update this Shipping Policy accordingly and notify customers via the website.


SECTION 10 – SHIPPING DURING OFFERS, SALES & PEAK PERIODS

During festivals, special promotions, flash sales, or peak shopping periods (such as Diwali, New Year, or other major occasions), order volumes may be significantly higher than usual.

As a result:

  • Processing times may be slightly longer (up to 5–7 working days in some cases).

  • Delivery timelines may be extended due to increased load on courier networks.

We will do our best to keep you updated via email or SMS if there are significant delays. We request your patience and understanding during such periods, and thank you for your support.


SECTION 11 – CHANGE OF SHIPPING ADDRESS AFTER PLACING ORDER

Please note:

  • Address change requests must be made before the order is dispatched. Once an order has been handed over to the courier partner, we may not be able to modify the delivery address.

  • Address change requests after dispatch may not be possible, or may lead to longer delivery times and additional courier charges.

  • We cannot guarantee successful address changes once the order is in transit with the courier.

If you are unable to change the address and need the order to be returned and reshipped, this will be treated as a return and reship scenario, and additional shipping charges may apply.
